A whole duck should last up to 1 year in the freezer. Put overnight in the fridge to thaw. Or do a quick thaw in a bowl of cold water. Once thawed, it will last 1-2 days in the fridge.</div>

Whole duck is excellent for roasting in the oven. You can prep and cook the same way you would a whole chicken. Duck is an excellent pair for oranges. You can stuff orange quarters in the cavity before cooking for an added flavor boost. And don't forget the organs! They're great for making a flavorful and nutrient-rich gravy.</div>

Our ducks are raised on biodiverse pastures year round. They have free access to indoor space in case they need shelter from the weather. In addition to what they forage, they're fed a GMO-free and corn & soy free feed. They are unvaccinated and are never given antibiotics.</div>

The duck is packaged in HDPE plastic, which is the most environmentally stable of all plastics. It does not contain BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, harmful fumes, or allergens. But all plastic has the potential to leach chemicals.</div>
