Pasture Raised *Our cows are outside on fresh, biodiverse pasture as much as the weather allows. They have plenty of room to roam and forage. In the colder months, our dairy cows spend more time in the barn. The pasture isn't growing, and we don't want them to muddy up the pastures (as cows do).
100% Grass-Fed *When we say 100% grass fed, we mean it. Our ruminant animals (cows, buffalo, sheep) are fed 100% grass, fresh from the pasture in the warmer months and dry pasture (AKA hay) in the colder months. No grain - ever.
A2/A2 *All of our cows are genetically tested to verify their milk contains 100% A2 beta-casein protein. A2/A2 milk can be easier to digest and may help those with milk intolerance or allergies. Learn more here.
Non-Homogenized *Our dairy is full fat and unaltered. This means that the cream will rise to the top (milk requires a shake before pouring) and dairy products like yogurt will separate a bit more quickly. We try to do things as naturally as possible.
Minimally Pasteurized to 145F  *When it comes to pasteurization, the higher the temp and the longer it's heated, the more damage is done to the milk (destroying nutrients, vitamins, and probiotics). That's why our pasteurized dairy is heated to the lowest temp allowed - 145F for 30 minutes. That means max nutrition for you!
No Chemicals, Drugs, or GMOs *Our farmers do things naturally. They don't use chemical fertilizers. Animals don't receive antibiotics, hormones, steroids, vaccines, or anything like that. And everything is GMO free. The only exception is that, when a farmer buys new large animals like pork, beef, and dairy cows, they may have received a vaccine before they got them.
