<div class="answers">Our lamb shanks are frozen and vacuum-sealed to maintain freshness. For best use, store in the freezer for up to 1 year, or in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.

You can slow thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Or quick thaw in a bowl of cold water, changing the water every 20-30 minutes until thawed.

Lamb shanks go great with mashed potatoes, polenta, rice, couscous, or roasted root veggies.<br><br>
Whisk avocado oil or the fat of your choice, rosemary, thyme, basil, parsley, mint, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper together in a bowl; and brush evenly over the lamb shank before braising.<br><br>
Lamb shank meat is also perfect for pies as well as stews and casseroles.</br></br></br></br></div>
