Stir occasionally for about 12 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove the onions from the pan.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eReturn the frying pan to the fire and add 2 tablespoons of chicken fat.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSprinkle salt on the livers, and place them in the frying pan in a single layer. Cook the livers for about two minutes on each side. You may have to cook the livers in batches.
